Our Mission
A nanoparticle methods hub within UC Davis BME
By centralizing high-end EV and nanoparticle acquisition and analysis tools at UC Davis, the Core serves as a hub for cross-disciplinary collaboration. Managed by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, our primary work is to standardize EV workflows in alignment with the Minimal Information for Studies of Extracellular Vesicles (MISEV2023) recommendations and to maintain rigorous Standard Operating Procedures that we update as the field's specifications evolve. The goal: data that is scientifically rigorous, reproducible, and comparable across laboratories and over time.

EV production, characterized and ready to ship
Don't want to build EV culture infrastructure from scratch? We produce, isolate, and ship characterized EV lots from HEK293T, MSCs, cancer cell lines, and your custom cell type - buffer-solubilized or lyophilized, on dry ice.
